    What a wonderful spot for breakfast or lunch! The restaurant itself is quaint and has an old school diner feel, the menu is large enough for a good variety but not too large that it’s overwhelming to choose, and the service was great! I opted for the eggs benedict (with peameal bacon) and I was delighted — the eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was creamy and rich, and the fried potatoes were crispy and delicious. I am glad I finally had the opportunity to try this restaurant out!

    Manon!! I have been to the Westside a million times in my previous life, years ago and it was a night shift staple that we would finish a set on and enjoy a quiet and lovely breakfast. Things have changed but for the better! Our service was incredibly fast and friendly, coffee hot in my cup in a heartbeat and offers of fill ups every 5 minutes, which is a necessary evil for my breakfast. Food was literally 5 or 6 minutes on the table and cooked perfectly. Just went with the special and we both enjoyed it. Well done Manon your smile made my daughters day.

    Went to the Westside Family Restaurant the past two Sundays. Staff are extremely welcoming and make you feel at home. Last week I ordered the two eggs with bacon and pancakes and upgraded the pancakes to the Hawaiian pancakes. The pancakes were amazing, great combination with the pineapple, coconut and whipped cream. I tried the first one with out syrup and the second one with, works well either way. The eggs, bacon and potatoes with onions were perfect as well. They make a good cup of coffee too. The g.f. went with the 2 eggs, bacon homefries and French toast. She also enjoyed everything on the plate. Went back today and were greated by an equally welcoming and friendly staff. Today I went with the Mason special which is eggs, bacon, ham, sausage and choice of potatoes plus coffee included. The g.f. got the Montana style eggs benny and a milkshake. The food was out really fast. She said the milkshake was awesome and enjoyed the eggs benny. I got an order of rice pudding which was a nice way to finish off breakfast. The past two weekend visits have proven that the service and food has a consistent quality. I would recommend and will definitely return.

    I had an incredible experience at this restaurant today, thanks especially to Michelle, who was absolutely wonderful with my family. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious home-cooked meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

    I finally found the opportunity to try out this little diner for breakfast. The MENU was perfect; a great variety but not so many options you can’t choose. The FOOD was good, and came quickly and exactly as requested. The SERVICE, however, is what really stood out. The lovely lady who served me was so polite and pleasant. She made light personalized conversation but didn’t ‘intrude’ at all. This is a busy little spot but the ladies that were serving all moved seamlessly around each other and covered each others tables when needed with little to no communication, they work like a well oiled machine! And all 3 were very kind and sweet. I always appreciate the true professional servers, they are few and far between now but these ladies could write the book! Thank you for a great experience, I’ll definitely be back again

    If you're into hole in the wall diners this is the place to go!! Very friendly people with excellent service. Food is always good and you can tell is made to order!! Not sitting around under a heating lamp... Never had a issue. Service is always quick and polite ! Will be back !

    Me and my girlfriend went to this diner it was our first time this weekend and I have to say I was blown away the service is something you used to get 20 years ago which was amazing I feel like customer service is a lost art and these guys just brought me back to a time where it was number one the food was amazing I will definitely be back thank you West side family restaurant for bringing back customer service
